Laverton P-12 College is a great place to be for over 600 students! Our focus is on student growth, progress and improvement.

We have a strong academic program where teachers know each individual student’s learning needs. Teams of teachers create lessons each week to raise curiosity, inspire students to be challenged and support and nurture student understanding and skill development.

Wellbeing and engagement of students is a priority alongside academic achievement. We focus on building students’ confidence, resilience and generosity. Our school values of ‘Belonging-Learning-Succeeding’ create individuals who have a sense of justice and compassion, can cooperate and collaborate and can persevere with effort toward success.

Our curriculum is interesting and exciting with ample opportunities for students to participate in co-curricular activities including sport, singing, instrumental music, hospitality, engineering, film making, and dance.

The College continues to explore ways the new environment can support effective teaching methods and to develop a curriculum that ensures an individual approach to student achievement.

Laverton P-12 College hosts a number of VETis Programs on behalf of the Hobsons Bay Trade Training Network.  Our VET programs are Engineering, Children’s Services, Hospitality and Music.
