Yr8 subject selection handbook
Year 8 starts the initial formative part of each student’s education journey and is an important time for students to start setting goals for the future.
Our Year 8 Program allows students to begin to consider and build interest-based pathways whilst continuing to enjoy the breadth of experiences the Victorian Curriculum has to offer.
In 2024 Laverton P-12 College is pleased to offer a Year 8 program that includes core subjects in English, Reading, Maths, Science, Sport Education Mentor Group, and many exciting elective subjects designed to encourage student agency and engagement.
